Alcohol Problems 

If you are concerned about alcohol consumption, advice is available from your GP practice. There are various treatment options from general information and advice available from GP practices about decreasing alcohol consumption to active interventions, which can include the work of Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust who actively care for people who are consuming alcohol above the recommended limits. Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, in conjunction with Cheshire West and Chester Council, has a number of community based alcohol services across Western Cheshire. Treatment options include: ‘drop in’ sessions, specialist assessment, interventions, community detoxification and psychological therapies. Drug addiction

 
A GP referral is not always necessary for this service but if you wish to speak to a GP about your drug addiction please contact Reception and make an appointment to see any of the doctors for assessment.
 
This service operates an open referral system offering advice, information and treatment for drug users (16 + yrs) and their families. Services include Community/out-patient detox, Complementary therapy, Counselling, Daycare/drop-in, Healthcare, Needle exchange, Pregnancy/parenthood services, Prescribing:

Mental Health

 
For mental health problems such as stress, anxiety and depression, or for any other mental health problem, please make an appointment with any of the doctors for assessment. If agreed, you may be referred to the Primary Care Mental Health Team for further assessment with a view to counselling or other psychological therapy.
