Named Accountable GP
NAMED ACCOUNTABLE GP FOR EVERY PATIENT
The practice is required by the Government under the terms of the latest General Practice contract to allocate all patients a Named Accountable GP.
All our patients (including children) at the practice have been assigned a named, accountable GP. This will be your registered GP. The named GP will take responsibility for the coordination of all appropriate services required and ensure they are delivered to each of their patients where required.
Where a patient expresses a preference as to which GP they have been assigned, the practice will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.
Having a named GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor in the practice.
Your named GP will not be available at all times and if your needs are urgent, you may need to discuss them with an alternative doctor.
If you would like to know who your named GP is then please contact reception at the practice.
